Badran A. Hassan is a professor of English Language Teaching (ELT) at the Faculty of Education, Mansoura University, Egypt. He obtained his B.A. in English from Mansoura University, M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico, USA. Dr. Hassan gained a wide teaching experience in the field of teaching English as a foreign language (EFL) through teaching in different positions at several educational institutions worldwide including Egypt, USA, Sultanate of Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain. He taught several English language teaching courses including: EFL Methods, EFL Teaching Techniques & Models, EFL Advanced Teaching Strategies. EFL Research Methods, Recent Trends in Teaching English, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) Courses, EFL Curriculum Development/Design/Planning Courses, EFL Microteaching, etc… . Dr. Hassan authored several research papers in the field of ELT and supervised many M.A. theses and doctoral dissertations. He also served on many Defense Committees (Vivas) in Mansoura University and elsewhere. Finally, Dr. Hassan was appointed as the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies & Research at the Faculty of Education, Mansoura University, Egypt.
